Welcome to my Portfolio, I do hope you enjoy my creativity and expression all throughout. I am Destiny or Galactian when it comes to my online persona. I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, with the many sketchbooks to prove it. My digital journey started 10 years ago on a school provided IPad where I'd get lost in my creating, the hours ticking by with each piece. I did get in trouble quite a bit for drawing in class, yet I could never seem to put my pen down so to speak. 

As a 2020 Graduate senior year was tough, sprung into working full time as Covid ran rampant. Graduation was dull, no prom, no exciting graduation, just work. It all felt rushed, I wasn't able to really stop and think, what was worse was trying to live on my own. Unfortunately, that didn't last long.  I would continue working the full-time life until I turned 21, I just felt so empty, like I was missing a huge piece in my life.

The search for schooling was exhausting to say the least, I couldn't figure out what I truly yearned to do. Always deterred from the artistic side of things, "Art isn't a real job." That exact thing has been shoved in my face my entire life. As a big middle finger to those that uttered those words I would enroll in Cosmetology. A decision I would live to regret, not because I didn't like it but because it still just wasn't me.  

I started putting myself out there, applying and working on projects that required my creativity. It made me feel so seen in a sense, had I finally found that missing piece? Now with what feels like has been an uphill battle, I have set my sights on what I truly love. Creating and designing characters. One step closer to doing what I love full time with plans of pursuing an Associate's in Game Design and later a Bachelor's degree in the same, as well as a minor in 2D Concept Art.
